Eric Sedeño doesn’t know how to be anything but himself. The creator and host of Wild Wild Web has been dubbed “the Internet’s bestie” and it’s easy to see why. Exuding a warmth and optimism others can only wish for, he lights up any space he enters and leaves it brighter and more inspired.
“I always think of myself as a yellow or an orange, a sunshiny person. That's my color,” says Eric of his positive demeanor, and you can practically feel the glow of him. Between his 100-watt smile and easy, natural humor, it’s no wonder the world can’t get enough of him.
The comedian, after taking the more traditional route of college and a full-time stint in advertising, shot to fame on TikTok, thanks to his infectious personality and full commitment to the bit. Between his characters and ongoing sketches, he owns more wigs than he can count, including “at least six or seven bobs” each with different personalities. But the real magic of Sedeño’s work lies in his unwavering belief in himself and assurance in who he is and what he brings to the table.

A classic Texan upbringing impacts much of who he is today. Even as a shyer, closeted teen, he’s always known exactly who he is. And that person is an absolute star.
Eric credits much of his success to this positive outlook, noting that he keeps a post-it note on his bathroom mirror reading I'm lucky and good things happen to me as a reminder to put out into the world what you want to come back to you. Is it manifestation, delusion, or a mix of both? Either way, it’s shaped his path and created a reminder to appreciate the magic.
“That positive mindset has attracted so many positive things in my life. I really genuinely believe I'm lucky and good things always happen to me. Every day, I feel like something good happens to me. It's really important to me. I feel like the only reason I'm here at this moment in my life is because I've been a positive person.”

It’s most evident in his new project, Wild Wild Web, which launched September 4th under the queer pop-culture podcast network Confetti Cannon. The platform is home to some of the greatest queer voices of this generation, including the inimitable Trixie Mattel and Katya Zamolodchikova, both of whom Sedeño cites as early influences. The journey from watching them as sources of inspiration to sharing a stage is a true testament to his power of manifestation and positive outlook, which he describes as a “door opener.”
“I've looked up to and watched their episodes and seen them flourish and rooted for them on multiple TV shows. I think that it's just such an honor. I feel so honored to be a part of that.”
A true child of the Internet, in Wild Wild Web, Eric dives into Internet culture with special guests, noting that a favorite subject to explore is the Internet origin story of each individual person. For him, it’s Trixie and Katya, early vines, and of course, a constant and undeniable admiration for Ariana Grande.

“My comfort zone has always been the Internet, even when I was hiding myself a little bit from the world, the Internet is where I went to explore my queerness and who I am with my humor.”
His Texas is showing too, as evident in the cowboy aesthetic of WWW’s creative, which Eric has a full stake in. Diving into every detail himself—from the graphic design to the intro writing and directing, down to hiring the voice actor—has made this project a true labor of love and reflective of both his talent and drive. “It's like all these pieces of myself culminating together into this beautiful project,” he says, with his usual yellow-orange glow.
Eric Sedeño is, in every sense, exactly who he’s meant to be: bright, fearless, and utterly himself. Whether it’s a product of manifestation or sheer talent, his power lies in his ability to tap into positivity and joy. It’s not just a mood, it’s a movement. ❤
